I was in LA all weekend and had so much fun. Meeting people with the same passions from all walks of life was truly a blessing. The one thing we all had in common was a desire to dance and a strong drive that goes right a long with the passion. It is so easy to get wrapped up in the mundane tenacity of everyday life that we all need a break sometimes.
Whatever it is you do in your life, if you absolutely hate your job or home life or if you absolutely love it. Regardless, we need a break from life to fullfil out deepest passions. This is what keeps us ticking, what keeps us moving along.
Like a summers worth of neglected yard work. When we look at the weeds in the front yard it can be overwhelming and cause us to go back indoors to do whatever it is we were doing. Without a vision we probably would do that. However, we have a passion, a desire to have a beautiful yard so the neighbors will stare in awe and our children will have a beautiful place to play. It is this passion that drives us to get out that rusty old weedwacker and turn a sore sight into hindsight.
It is much the same with what most of us do everyday. We walk through the days of weeds to get to what we truly want. Whatever it may be for you, dancing, swimming, or even a simple walk on the beach. Find that passion and fulfill you deepest desire to make it your reality.
When you do, you'll notice that days filled with weeds don't seem much like weeds anymore, but where flowers all along.
